Change of Time

Grandpa and Grandma Thacker drove over from Maryland for the holiday weekend. Determined to show them his southern charm Patterson squealed, squawked, and shared his theories of life and leisure. As you can see by the time the left he needed some R&R time with Fred the Frog.

Memphis/Covinton, TN

On Saturday we went on a family adventure to Memphis and Covington, TN. I had a show with Trapper Haskins (www.trapperhaskins.com) and it was a family friendly show. We only had a few hours to spend in Memphis but we did get some great BBQ and walk a bit around Beale Street. At the show Patterson joined me for a photo op. I tried to get Lisa and him to come up and dance later in the show but Lisa declined. Wimp.

Return of the Grievous Angel

A lot has been happening lately. Summer is setting in and Patterson being a hot box leads to lots of naked baby in diaper time. We also had Cinco de Mayo and today is Mother's Day! Patterson gave Lisa two cards, a picture frame, and helped her pick out a dress today. Ry, LaRayne, and Cormic stopped by today while we were gardening to pick up our lawn mower to see if it is salvageable. We were pretty lucky in the floods. I volunteered yesterday in a neighborhood not to far away from our house and right next to the park where we take Miles and a lot of these blog pictures have been taken. I highly recommend donating to either the Red Cross or Hands on Nashville as a lot of people lost a lot of things. The area I went to still does not have power and the water level reached at least 5 feet in their houses.

There might be two picture entries for this one.

While Mommy is Away

Lisa went shopping with a friend on Saturday (pre-flooded Nashville) so I dressed little man up in his Grimey's shirt and took him to a guitar store. Some one has to raise the boy right. Plus we had time to kill until the Cavs vs. Celtics Game.

Save it For a Rainy Day

It has been a crazy weekend here. All of the major interstates through Nashville are flooded. Of course we're battling our basement/crawl space. This has given Patterson plenty of play time. Lisa braved the storm yesterday and went shopping with a friend. Here he is with his new toy.
